Default XC90 Ultimate Wood panel defects?

Hi,

I just collected my new xc90 ultimate and I've noticed some fitting issues with the wood panels on the interior.

1) The right side of the panel where the volume adjustment dial is seems to jut out instead of being flush like the left side. It cannot be pushed back in.

2) The wood trim on one door is a bit smaller, leaving a gap at the top.

Wonder if anyone has had similar problems and managed to get it sorted?

I would have that straight back to the dealer.

Yup, I would also be straight back to the dealer with that.

I've not seen fit that bad since I had a Lada as a student.

I'd be back to the dealer pronto.

Back to the dealer as well, would imagine a simple fix to get the volume control panel sitting fully in, but best the dealer do it.

I think we are all really astonished by this. I would ask to speak to the person that signed the PDI, assuming the dealership actually did one. Which dealer by the way?

Door card looks okay, but the wood trim isn't cut straight - looks like an end-of-day off-cut.
I hope they find a replacement which has been cut correctly.

Interesting my passenger door trim is exactly the same as the OP.

Sorry for the delayed update. Yes they've managed to sort out the panel easily. Turns out it wasn't clipped in properly. The one on the door is still an issue. They initially ordered a new wood trim but it still didn't fit right so they're ordering a new door panel instead

Keep us informed.
Not convinced it's the door panel, but hey let's see.
