engine change
Got engine probs in my 1998 (R) Volvo V40 Estate Diesel
Can i put a newer engine say for example from a 2003 in using most of my engine components???? Last edited by simonV40; Nov 6th, 2008 at 19:33. |

I would have thought the engine is identical but the electronics and management would be different due to the common rail technology. Have you posted the same question in the diesel section?

dont know about the diesel, but the turbo petrol engines have changes in the sensors (theres more on the new engines). something to maybe consider
