  • Genuine Volvo Front & Rear Reversing Cameras fitted myself.
Hardest task was feeding the camera cables into the cabin through the bulkhead rubbers already occupied with other cables.
  • Whilst the centre console was out I replaced the black plastic cupholder roller blind cover with a mesh aluminium one to match the dash trim.
  • Then added 2 additional USB sockets. One in the cupholder across from the 12V socket and the 2nd one down next to the drivers leg on the tunnel console.
  • And finally replaced the gear shifter & gaiter with an R-Design set to match the R-Design steering wheel with paddleshifters and pedals.
  • Installed the cargo hooks and organiser to the boot.
Next jobs still on the list:
  • Fit the 2nd hand Volvo tailgate spoiler.
  • Fit the CROSS COUNTRY decal to the tailgate.
  • Fit stainless steel rear bumper guard trim.
  • Replace the corroded D4 AWD badges with new style ones.
  • Fit the Volvo aluminium engine undershield.
  • Tweak around with the interior lighting. Have got 4000k LED bulbs fitted which are just a bit too bright/harsh for the interior. Need to get to a 3-3500k softer colouring.
  • Debate whether to replace the 18" Pan alloys with a newly acquired set of 19" Erakir alloys in black/silver.
Do I get all-season tyres for these as I have at the mo' or go back to rotating & storing a set of winter & summer tyres twice a year?
  • Perhaps black out the V O L V O panel on the tailgate below the glass?
  • Get the metal window trim polished to remove the milkiness from previous owner using TFR at cheap car washes.
  • Polestar Optimisation!
Where did you get your interior lights from?

I'm using Osram Retrofit LEDs that I had left over from another project.

I've tried these other bulbs which might allow me to tint the colour more easily.

Where did you get the extra power points from and was it easy to do? Ie remove panels off to drill the holes etc.

Bought the power points off Amazon. Look for those with a minimum 2.1A outlet to ensure faster charging.
I tapped into one of the existing power outlets in the centre console using Scotchloks.
The one in the side panel is easiest to fit as it just pops out. You can then run the supply lead to the power outlet at the rear of the console.
The one in the cupholder is more elaborate as it requires stripping the console down to get to. Not too difficult.

Thanks. Something I can add on my to-do list.

Replaced the fuel filter, air filter & added a full bottle of Liqui Moly Super Diesel Additive to a full tank of fuel on my S80.

I am currently in the process of cracking the pin number to my CEM to upgrade to a Digital DIM. It says it is going to take 20 hours yet. The car has to sit in ignition II in "black mode" until the process is over, so a heavy power supply is attached so I dont flatten the battery.
