Default "Facelifting" 05 model

Hey. I was wondering if there is any possibility to upgrade the looks by fitting dome details from newer models. I really like the grill from 2011 years modelis (with big Volvo badge) will it fit to 2005 modelis. Maybe you have dome ideas for upgrading looks. Thanks

Yes. At the front end you need to replace the bumper and headlamps. Everything else should be OK

At the rear, it's the same story. Bumper and rear light clusters. That said, I have a feeling that the connectors for the rear light clusters require some rework.

A couple of people on this forum have done that very facelift so try searching for their threads.

Sounds like it might make more sense to sell up and buy a facelift model?

I'm always a bit mystified when people do this, take £3k worth of decade old car and spend another £2k on making it look like a newer model to be left with £3k worth of decade old car.

It's even worse when you see the weird bastardized creations like P38 Range Rovers with bits grafted on to make them look like the newer L322. Looks sad and desperate.
