  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default Late model 164 Instrument Voltage Regulator

Hi All

Can anyone help please, I am looking for a 164 late model Instrument Voltage Regulator/Stabiliser please.

A vehicle year versus 'late model' would be more useful. Up to 1972 or 1973, the 164 used the same cluster as the 140 and stabilizers for the 140 are part 684623

The availability of these is dodgy and most people fabricate a replacement using an LM series 5 volt 3 terminal voltage regulator chip.

Later cars with the 240 like cluster used a different stabilizer
