1999 v70 t5
hi,
i have just purchased my first volvo,a 1999 v70 t5.it has done 83,000 miles with full volvo service history.i was wondering what sort of mileage i would normally get from a car of this type. thanks peter |

Hi Peter,
Fuel consumption depends of course on how you drive. I get an average of 25-26mpg with a 20 minute country road drive to and from work each day speed varying between 30 & 70ish ;-) Just a note @ 80,000 miles your cam belt should have been changed. You say you have full service history, but it's worth specifically checking that this item has been done. Hope this helps Richard |

Did you mean fuel consumption or how many miles will the engine last for? My 850 T5 has now done 203K miles and will get 35mpg on the motorway, this drops to about 27mpg around town, though I don't thrash it all the time as I usually have my 4 month old daughter on board.
