Resprayer must have gone to a lot of trouble masking, but shame the spraying was not up to that standard. I have the chance of a S/H bonnet in same colour, but probs with getting it home. Stupidly I thought my 740 could accommodate it, 'til I realized bonnet is of course a lot wider, and deeper than door. |

I always refer to my local bodyshop (unfortunatly approx 200 miles from you).
Any good bodyshop, or detailer for that matter, should have a PDG (paint depth gauge) which would instantly give an idea of the paint thickness over the whole body. On the law of diminishing returns, how mucxh is a good quality paint job to rectify the problem compared to the market value of the car??? On the other hand, if you intend to keep it.... |
