Unhappy Heated seats in c70.... do they work???

Hi all.

Loving this forum!

Just a quick question. I've just bought a 1999 c70. Tried the heated seats but can't seem to notice any difference! Does it take a while for them to heat up or are they very "subtle" and hard to notice in good weather?...or are they broken

Thanks!

You will notice them. Mine take about 3-4 minutes to get warm and about 10 to get hot.

Hi,

It takes at least 3 or 4 minutes before you can feel it, and i think that you must be seated on the seat in order the sytem to start.

If your system doesn't work: check that the relay (under the arm rest) is ok, and that the cable under the seat are ok: you should have a ground and a 12V cable.

Doesn't work

Beginning to think I've bought a turkey!

To date: Non working headlight wipers, All brake discs (failed MOT), wheel bearing, O/S/F regulator, New headlights (failed MOT) aaaargh.

Perhaps I should go back to Mazdas. This has cost me £750 to date and thats sourcing 2nd hand parts.
