Electrics: 850: Central locking

Hi.
I'm having problems with the central locking with the remote and the key.

If I stand at the back of the car and press the remote button all the locks work except the drivers door.
If I stand at the drivers door and use the remote the drivers door and the tailgate won't lock.
When I use the key in the drivers door only that door will lock/unlock.
Locking the tailgate with the key they all lock except the drivers door.
So when I lock it all up I press the remote, lock the tailgate with the key, and then lock the drivers door also with the key.
The party trick is then when I unlock the car first thing with the remote, and only use the key for the front door, open the door and then they lock/unlock/lock/unlock several times,to stop this happening I would have to unlock the tailgate first.
Now I know this all sounds very complicated etc. but I think I shall shortly be going crackers because of it all (joke).
