Default Centre Console 12v Accessory socket.

The black plastic ring/holder that surrounds the Accessory socket in the centre console has broken, meaning the accessory socket is very loose. I just wondered if anyone else has had this issue? And whether Volvo cover this sort of thing under warranty? I know some manufacturers don't cover trim after a year. I have taken the side off to get the broken bits out of the console as I didn't want them rattling about.

Is it a screw on fixing ring at rear of socket, if so buy a cheap 12v socket from ebay and use the screw on ring to fix yours.

It doesn't look like a screw fixing, it looked more like this. This is for the XC90 though, it does say the V90 is the same though....

When I have had issues with a Ford in the past, they have refused any trim/interior warranty work after one year.

Just an update, car went in on Tuesday for windscreen chip repair and socket replacement. After 4 hours they told me the wrong socket had been ordered, they’d tried to get one out another car but hadn’t been able too. They’ve ordered another socket but I’m waiting on them calling me.
