Guide:- Easy Load Cover Fix
Ok my load cover was rolling up when hitting bumps.
So a quick look at it revealed the plastic had worn/snapped so, lateral thinking came in to play- You need a hacksaw Couple of inches of 16mm pipe Araldite (Other types of glue are available) Paint Cut it down the middle so you get 2 half pipes Position them so they cover where the plastic is supposed to be and glue them on and spray it black Note - it might be easier to paint them first - then touch up if needed! Why bother? The load cover is not just to cover the boot, it acts as the space the sub is built for and deflects the rear speaker sound forward. Very good for your sound system |

Now all we need is a fix for the silly round bits that the shelf sits on as they do appear to be a weak point and I have a broken 1. Thanks

Heh, had the same problem, these things do break often. I used this special kind of glue, that you can shape and stick with your hands. When it hardens it's as hard as plastic and you can even grind it. Worked like a charm.

Looked very similar to this, just in darker colour. There is a variety where the components are already layered together instead of being in separate sticks. Maybe someone local can recommend you a brand: |
