HELP - Common Rail Plug 1.6 D2 Volvo

Hi

Help - how do you remove the common rail plug from a 1.6 D2 2011 Volvo S40.

I can get to it - but I cannot get tothe clip to release it - as its underneath,

Do dealers have a special tool to do this?

I'm trying to plug in a tuning box

Assuming it's the same as a 2.0d, putting a right angle bend in a fine flat bladed screwdriver will give you a tool that you can slip behind the plug to release the latch. Then pull the plug in the direction of the cable (pref not by tugging cable !)

removing the egr valve helps ... cant you doctor the wires at the ECU end of the loom?
