Instrument Cluster Illumination Bulbs
Hi,
I'm trying to source the bulbs for the instrument cluster for a 92 Torslanda - the illumination bulbs, not warning bulbs from along the bottom. After searching through previous posts I'm still looking for a source of replacement bulbs - either original halogen type or a direct LED replacement. Any ideas? Thanks Chris

Hello Chris,
Hope the old Torslanda is going well, I haven't seen it around here for a while. In my wife's Torslanda I used the R64122 PCB bulbs which are listed on ebay. They were a perfect fit but I'm sure they're not hardly as bright as the old Volvo bulbs. Cheers, Chris |

Hi Chris,
Yes, still the daily driver Thanks for the info - figured there must be a simple replacement. Some threads said you need to order from Volvo? Read there was also an LED replacement but that was on a US forum and can't seem to find a UK equivalent part number??? Cheers Chris

bulbs
I have a post from November 2019 that may help.
I found the bulbs to be 12v 3w B10D brown base R64122 A google or ebay search found them ... note brown base. It was possible to remove the bulbs without removing the cluster completely but far easier with it removed. When replacing one bulb I found the contacts needed a tad easing apart in order to fit over the pcb. Interestingly, the 'owners manual' supplied with my 240 (1988) had the wrong bulb spec listed. My notes say the 'warning' lights are 509T Cheers, Phil |

Thanks Phil, have found some on eBay at £3 a pop so hopefully they'll do the trick, Cheers Chris
