ajaycad 1200 VMax Rider Last Online: Jan 7th, 2017 19:46 Join Date: Jul 2012 Location: Cornwall	V50 1.6d SE LUX/R Design Hello, This is my first post, so forgive me if this has been asked before. I am considering a V50 1.6d in either R Design or SE Lux trim. Having driven both at my local Volvo dealer, I found them better than expected for a 1.6 diesel. I am moving up from a 2004 VW Passat 1.9 TDi and thought I might miss the extra go from the 1.9. I have been a bit disappointed with the economy of my Passat - averaging about 45mpg overall. I'm also impressed with the negligible road tax on the V50. I have a few questions. What miles can I expect from a tankful of diesel from the 1.6 V50 - I drive fairly conservatively these days !! Also any common problems I should look out for before parting with the cash.
