thinking of selling my 142
Reluctantly I am thinking of selling my 142, which has only just been renovated with a repaint, mechanical overhaul and a new MOT. I am only thinking of selling at the moment as I am having building work done on my house, but thought I would see if anyone is interested. The car is a 1968 RHD with 1 previous owner on V5. The car is in very good condition with only some minor little bits needed. I have no idea of price for the car as there isn't much to benchmark on, however, after seeing some of the prices recently for a good 144, I would think it must be worth a bit more based on rarity.
Please message if interested. thanks mark |

I would say benchmark against sold prices not for sale prices - sorry that is trite
There's a chap in London trying to sell a bog-standard 144 - it was suggested it was worth about 1800 quid. he didn't agree so is selling for £3500 - he's now dropped it to £3000

Hi
Thanks for the advice. I will have a think about it, but they are significantly rarer than a 144 especially as this is a rhd and it has been restored. I will see what interest I get. thanks |

Sadly due to space I am now looking to sell my 142. It is in lovely condition and this is a reluctant sale. I'm looking for 5500 for her. I really want her to go to a volvo enthusiast and hope someone may want her. I will post pics later with a description of all the work I have had done.
Thanks mark |

Hi all. The car is on ebay. I have reduced the price to 5100. It really is a lovely car.
