Changed fuel filter and got p0087
I've replaced my dirty fuel filter with new one and now I keep getting p0087: Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too Low
I've replaced it with Mahle filter, which should be OE? I ended up replacing only large gasket ring with the filter. It didn't came with the smaller gasket for diesel intake. After replacing it I didn't have any troubles except for first start-up when it wouldn't start, but that was because there wasn't enough diesel in the filter cup. After that, I've already done 400 km and there aren't any noticeable problems. I've also had a little bit hard time putting the plastic filter cap on, but eventually it came on. What I've noticed is that I get the p0087 over the night, when car and engine gets cold. If I delete the code in the evening when engine is warm/hot, I won't get the code back after few start-ups. Does anyone have any idea what actually could go/be wrong? car: s60 2004, D5244T2 (with 404.000 km) filter: cartridge insert type (not cylinder) |
