Imobiliser

I've just changed insurance companies & they are asking for proof of a Thatcham approved Imobiliser ?
Does anyone possibly know if my XC60 2013 SE Lux Nav is factory fitted with one, as there is no evidence of an aftermarket one ever being installed ?

Like yours, mine is fitted with a factory fitted alarm, whether it also immobilisers as well as alerts I have no idea, is it a Thatcher? 🤷. I wouldn’t have thought so.
But would be presently surprised to be told differently.

The car is standard from the factory , if they want to know let THEM do the research .... It will need an official document , let them converse with volvo ...

Its factory fit, so check with the insurance as they may be thinking you fitted an aftermarket one.

Thanks everyone,
I have now contacted their customer services to discuss & the requirement for completing the imobiliser declaration is now no longer required :-)
