Your next new Volvo will arrive first I would imagine, unless you intend keeping your current one for the next 17 years (assuming they do not raise the retirement age upwards!!!). Then again you may be a wealthy kind of chappie and are considering retiring in the next 3 years perhaps....

I'm 26 now, but was driving in my dads 940 'Classic' 2.3 at 18, then had an S60 2.0T at 22 and an S60 D5 SE after that until last April when I changed it for a 530d... Back to Volvo ownership when the XC60 arrives next week if all goes to plan!

I didn't learn to drive properly and pass my test till 24 O_O... At which point I rocked an Astra Bertone Coupe (what a fool I was)..for like 6 months till I gave up driving again for a bit -_-....

Then I had a Fiesta for a year... HATED it.... drove it 1000miles total...

Then 2.5 years or so ago I got my C30, first Volvo and I love it, it got me over my fear of driving, and it's just hit 21,100miles.

I've now, at age 30, got an XC60 on order. It hits me right in the feels giving up my C30, but I needed the additional boot space for work and the more practical passenger arrangement too.

My XC is here now, sat at the dealers waiting to have Sensus Connected Touch put it. The wait is torturous now, cos I've seen her, sat in her, but not been able to drive her or bring her home yet.... X_X

Interesting - my age group (64) lagging behind.
Maybe this is more reflective of the age groups of people who use forums than drive xc60's!!!!

I want one and I'm 28. I bought my Diesel Mondeo when I was 21 and my V50 when 26.

The V50 may be fun and quite quick but it's not big enough anymore

Am I also allowed to include my father who is nearer 90 than 80...!!! He technically hasn't driven my car, although he has reversed and parked it!

I'm 42 and feeling way to young to be driving a volvo xc60, got it new on the 12th Dec, haven't washed it yet and don't intend to either.
