Default Windscreen interior trim - removal?

Hi folks. What's involved in removing the piece of trim at the top of the windscreen, the bit in front of the rear view mirror? I'm thinking of mounting my dashcam to it so I need to know if there's anything tricky involved in its removal, ta.

If you mean the plastic trim at the rear of the mirror which houses the rain sensor, then it's just a case of pulling it of gently.
It's just clipped on, just had a windscreen replacement and I watched the guy who did it.
Took him seconds to do it.

This is the cover if you have a rain sensor fitted. If not, it is smaller but fits the same way.

Ease out the top corners before pulling down.
