Default Which battery size?!

Hi, does anyone know which battery I should be looking for in a 2003 2.0t?

It's an 027 in there at the moment, but Amazon is telling me that won't fit.

I'm 45 and have never actually researched my own car battery and it's a minefield!

If it has an 027 in there already then obviously it will fit despite what Amazon might say. However to be on the safe side before ordering any battery measure the height, width and length of the one already in the car[assuming it does fit properly] and check those measurements against those quoted for the replacement.

I have a 096 battery in mine. It is the largest battery that will fit in the tray and still be able to secure with the standard Volvo clip.

Thanks ITS - I got an 096 for £47 off eBay and fitted today - and it's also sorted the dodgy temp gauge reading!
