S40 2002 - headlight washers leaking and not working
I bought my 2002 S40 1.6 petrol second hand and the headlight washers haven't worked and leak until the level of the water in the reservoir reached their height.
I tried to take a better look at the pumps and reservoir and discovered a red connector that, apparently, doesnt have a place to plug into, since both pumps and the level sensor are connected, everything is on the pictures. Could it be that the headlight washer pump is blown? And if so, does anyone know where that unknown red connector is supposed to lead to? Btw, the electric cable which (i think) comes from the headlight washer pump ends like this (second to last picture), half connected, does anyone know if is this is normal I've uploaded pictures so if anyone notices anything out of the ordinary, help me, Thanks!
