It seems like the event you were originally planning to attend, a rolling start 1/2 mile event to find the fastest Volvo, has been canceled and replaced with Melbourne Raceway's standard "Run What Ya Brung" event on the 17th, which appears to be on a shorter 1/8 mile track that doesn't require shifting out of 2nd gear. Make sure to adjust your preparations and expectations accordingly for the new event.
