Good to hear you've finally got it running right. My exhaust is looking okay though (mid-life I'd say). I think mine is still related to fuel supply. Due to a lying fuel gauge and me under-estimating my MPG, I slowly filled my tank. I suspect that's why my car started behaving. I'm somewhere around half a tank or so and my idle's starting to get a little rough. Not missing, just not smooth anymore. I know its a bit of a work-around, but if keeping it topped off makes it happy, then that's what I'll have to do I think.

Thanks, at least it seems that way.
Maybe with yours now seeming to be ok-ish, perhaps now would be a good time to run some injector cleaner through it? Looking at my old back box, that looked about mid-way through its life too. It's not blowing and is in reasonably good condition but like i said, shake it and you hear a rattle sometimes. Mine is still a pig to start from cold which i'm 99% sure is the injector seals, hoping to get them renewed sometime in the near future so will have to see!
