Dog guard- will an '07 fit later models?

Hi all, about to move up a few years from my '07 XC70 to a 14 or 15 plate, does anyone know if the dog guards from the earlier cars will fit the later models??

I doubt it. P2 and p 3 models differ quite a bit.

Answer is no as I recently tried it. Had to buy a new (2nd hand) guard for my P3. Gas struts have failed though which I'm surprised at.
Volvo want 20 quid a side which is ridiculous!!
Does anyone know where to get cheaper replacements?

The XC70 had the metal gate as standard here in Sweden, at least. My gas struts have failed too. Mine is a 2012.
