S/V70 (or even C70) front bumper *in Nautic Blue metellic*
Hi all,
I'm looking to source a front bumper from an S/V/C70 in Nautic Blue metallic to put on my V70R while its bumper is being repaired. Since it'll only be there for a few weeks, I don't want to spend too much on it! Can anyone help? cheers James

I have a spare pair which came with my R bumper - they're a bit mucky but the glass is fine; no cracks etc. I can bring them to the MRG meet if you need them. It did cross my mind to lend you my old battered bumper but both the guides were broken, there was a big hole in the side of it, it was silver and you wanted blue, I robbed all the screws and fastenings off it, the steel beam was probably bent slightly and TBH it was rather satisfying chucking it in a skip at the local tip :-)

I've got foglights sorted now, ta...although I did notice after installation that the replacement one is dirty *inside*....humph! The inner bit pops out, so I'll give it a clean when I get around to it!
cheers James

When you do take the bumpers on/off get someone to help you (not me btw - I've had more than my fair share of refitting front bumpers) as they weigh a ton with the steel beam attached and are a PITA to get lined up.
Use volvo rivets as well as they look nicer. You can just about do the rivets without taking the wheels off if you stick it on full lock each way.

Thanks for the guidance. I'll get a blanket and a couple of assistants at the ready!
cheers James

Ah, like a 960 opposed to a 940. That would probably explain why the paint looks different to my 417 S70.
cheers James
