760 GLE turbo diesel - needs a new home

My much loved 760 which is 26 years old next week is going to fail his MOT as he needs work done on the underneath of his body work. It has been a very hard decision to decide that this is one big repair too many for a car that has been in the family from new. He is low mileage - only 135000 - engine and mechanics in good order but his bodywork is starting to let him down. He has 5 fairly new tyres but the MOT expires on the 18th Jan and at that point he will be SORN. I can't really bear to scrap him so looking for someone with a match that would like to give parts of him a new home.

How much work does he need? I'm looking at Volvo Diesels to run on vegetable oil. Can weld, will travel.
