Hi everyone,

I just bought a SmartTOP roof control module for my 2009 C70. This is a mod designed for the folding-hardtop C70s (2006-).

It's fully programmable so you can opt in or opt out of each function.
Primarily I was interested in the following:-

• Remote opening / closing of roof via key (a la BMW 3er and Vauxhall Astra)
• One-touch all windows up from inside car
• One-touch opening & closing of roof from inside car
• I will also be enabling the roof open / close while the car is moving for emergencies only.

I should be fitting this early next week, so will let you all know how easy it was and what I think!

Would be interested to hear from anyone else who has installed the same.

SmartTOP installed!

The installation took more than 15 mins, but most of that was spent carefully removing the boot lining and finding the appropriate screw driver to undo one of the parts.

I've got some lessons learned which I'll publish in due course.

Initial reaction to the gadget itself ... A W E S O M E.
I'm a little dubious about operating the roof whilst moving other than on dead-flat roads at low speed, but the remote open and close is brilliant!

Thoroughly recommended!
