C70: - Rear window doesn't go up or down

Suddenly my rear passenger window will not operate from the door switch, no sound or anything.

When I put the roof up however it went back up automatically. I'm assuming therefore that it's the switch that's the problem but does anyone have any other thoughts just in case?

The C70 convertible has a ECU for the windows, it’s not just a switch wired to the motors, so if the window is moving as part of the roof cycle that would suggest the motor is okay.

The switches can get full of dust, so I’d remove it and if you have access to compressed air - give it a good blow out. That can be done in situ. Or buy a can of air duster from Amazon.

Suggestion made above is on the money… the four way switch should cause the ECU to drop all four windows.

Yes, it also works from the rear switch.

Soz New to Forum and threads so apologies if posted in wrong place.
I had similar £££ Diagnostic fished the ECU out and now none of the windows operate : ) I was told Earth has shorted out and relay failed...
Im trying to source a whole Window Module ECU unit for C70 MK1 (05) convertible Auto-"collection" can anyone put me in right direction? i cant PM as not enough messages so mail me mackaire@me.com 07710499777

still trying to get signature to attach to mail and Very excited about C70mk1 and trying to get the lid off it before winter!!! Solid Low mileage model it OK condition.

...Now, how do I get fish bones out of Grapefruit???....
