33,126 fault free miles in my V60

Hi All,

Just passed 12 months with the V60 and racked up over 33K miles. Really pleased no faults or niggles, no software glitches, or any issues at all. Although steering wheel feels tighter after annual service (2nd service).

Really love it, oh and a not too shabby 60.6 mpg average out of the D4, mostly Mway and A road driving.

Your good news seems to have mystified/silenced some of our fellow forum users. As a near neighbour (Ashbourne), I'm as pleased as punch with your trouble-free ownership experience. I'm thinking of switching to a V60 later this year, although used S90s seem better value. My S90 has the same mileage as your V60 but acquired over three years rather than one! But I too have had no problems, although I will ask them to check the PowerPulse system at the next service in March (well you just would wouldn't you).

I use Marshalls in Nottingham. Out of interest, who do you use?

I used Snow in Southampton as I was down that way visiting relatives, but the next service will most likely be at Marshalls now they are in Derby. They have taken over the Old (but new) Landrover Dealership next to Pride Park - It must be one of the biggest Volvo Dealerships by area I have ever seen. As it was a Landrover dealer it has 10-12 service bays or so I am informed, so getting a slot should be easy!

( yawn) don't worry that's quite normal ! even my 1972 classic car does that . OK ... only 50 mpg however 🙄
