Apologies for not keeping everyone here up to date. I have posted more on the Turbobricks forum here: http://forums.turbobricks.com/showth...71#post4595471

Anyway, if you don't want to follow the link above, not long after my last post, I had to rebuild the motor due to the plastic oil line for my new oil pressure gauge melting, which caused the entire sump contents to empty into the engine bay. In short, number 3 big end was trashed and I had to source another rod and have the crank ground. So I took the opportunity to give the engine a rebuild and now it's back in the engine bay. Here it is as it stands.




There's not much left to do now. I have to get the exhaust fitted and then finish the ignition system. I also want to neaten up some of the hoses and connect up the heater which I have bypassed at the moment for the LPG.

Very smart. With all that extra ooooomph I think I'd be looking for somewhere to put a brake servo, even under the dash maybe. I know the brakes will work fine without one but when driving fast, the reduction in foot pressure allows you to concentrate on the driving more when the pedal pressures are more balanced.
