It's another top piece. Due to the chop & the taper of the roof, the top of the screen is probably wider than before, so I imagine it's easier to use two cut down trims than to lenghten a single one.

Just bought a 1962, one owner from new, 71 000 mile 122s. The plan is it'll be my only car, just as soon as I sell my 240GLT estate and my 480 turbo. And my Citroen H van. How did I end up with so many vehicles?

I presume it was the one off ebay. I was interested in that one but I got the sneeky feeling when I spoke to the guy on the phone that there might be more rust hiding than I first thought. Still sounds a good one though. Also it was difficult to understand the guy as I think he had a mild form of terrets, although he never swore.

That sounds like mine. There's no rust in the important places, it's mostly cosmetic. I got a stack of documents and reciepts with it, including the original log book and the sales receipt from 1962! There was a load of spares with it too, including a brand new set of pistons and a new windscreen. I'm well chuffed with it. I agree with you about the seller - I couldn't understand a word he said on the phone but he turned out to be a nice bloke.

a 1967 estate ( fuely head and weber carb, soon to be retrofitted with SUs by Rhys Kent of Victoria BC ) and as of 4 weeks ago a 62 2 door ( with B20 and OD soon to be paid for ) Both born and raised in sunny southern California where, as you know, it never rains.
