Comments like that aren't going to get you a sale!

A quick look at Auto Trader suggests that £5,250 seems reasonable but you're still competing with dealers to some extent and they're likely to offer some form of warranty and a full year's MOT.

To be fair, we already have a Volvo's but it's always a good place to pitch on the off chance that a potential first time Volvo buyer is looking. If it wasn't for the fact I already had one you and I would already have exchanged Crisp Currency. Good luck with the sale Fella, it's a great looking motor.

I apologise for my comment, unreservedly.

I was getting very fed up with people coming on my thread with price opinions which do not help my efforts to sell my car, I asked people to stop but the next day there was another!
The comment about the tax being £475 was the last straw for me, hence I lashed out and I shouldn't have.

I have someone coming today and there is a great chance it will go. I'll update the thread when I know.

This is why I wouldn't sell my car on a forum. If people aren't interested then that's fine but subjective opinions on a car's value with little or no intention to buy are somewhat pointless.

No, not sold yet though there is considerable interest. We are also selling my wife's 10 reg Fiesta as we are going to just have the one car which is a Hyundai i30 disiesel. The volvo has had many more hits on ebay than the Fiesta.....

The guy that has posted our adverts also provided the i30, a very kind man.
