All I can say is WOW
![]() First, the obligatory pictures of the exterior... Note the lack of a pod. ![]() Very pleased with the Flamenco Red. ![]() I think the colour works very well with the dark windows and style pack. ![]() Finally, the new dash... ![]() I've not yet had a chance to properly play with the new Sensus system, but first impressions are that it's pretty slick and responsive, though there's a lot to learn to fully appreciate its capabilities. One thing I might miss about the pod is not having the current audio track details visible while the satnav map is displayed. Perhaps there's an option buried in the menus for this. Need to dig into the manual. I've already found a bug in the audio track seleection when playing from a USB stick - scrolling to a desired track and pressing the thumbwheel sometimes plays the previous track, even though the selected track's details are shown. Sound quality from the Premium Sound system plus subwoofer is good, but will need some tweaking to balance it all out. By default, the sub is too intrusive. Car was very well prepared by TMS, so hats off to them. The only niggle was the wrong driver's floor mat - apparently manual and auto mats are different, and I ended up with the latter. TMS are sorting this out next week. The car has also grown a left foot rest, even though it's a manual. It's pretty close to the clutch pedal and does foul my foot if I'm not paying attention when shifting. What with the wrong mat being supplied, I wonder if I've also got the auto's floor trim/foot rest... Other than that, I'm a happy camper! |

SE Lux Premium.

sideroad to our house is on the level so no chance to test traction (not that I was especially keen to try to break loose in a brand-new car, mind you!). Felt pretty sure-footed on wet/cold tarmac though. I've no plans, for the moment, to switch to winter tyres since I'm fortunate enough to work from home - no need to commute in treachorous conditions. |

Very nice. Why didn't you go for the beige steering wheel to complement your interior?

Beige steering wheels get to look grubby with the sweat from your hands, much better in black for looks over time.
