To pro or not to pro
I’m looking at an XC40 inscription but quite fancy the pro with 19” wheels. I’ve driven both R-design and inscription (T3) and ride wise there isn’t that much in it on the standard 18” rims. Has anybody got experience of the 19 and 20 inch pro versions?

20 inch rims make the ride more firm compared to the 18inch wheels. Will you notice it once you have bought the car, probably not unless your going to be driving another XC40 with different wheels on a regular basis. Personally for the the extra cost of the pro version I would take the xenium pack, it holds more value to the car compared to the pro version.
By the way you can now check out the cost/estimated value on Volvo’s new online purchase programme so it’s nice to see the trade offs.

Thanks for that. I managed to get a dealer to let me test drive a few today and the main difference between the 19s and the standard rims is road noise. I think the comment about xenium is valid. Look at what you fancy, look at the cost and complexity and go from there. All versions are pretty good, just wish I could see the new colours before....
