Replacing 940 Ignition Barrel and Steering Lock.
I am looking for some advice please. My previous car, 940 Estate petrol which I sold to a friend 4 years ago, has just been broken into. A smashed rear quarter light, ignition barrel and steering lock all damaged. The car cannot be driven at present and the present owner is waiting for the Insurance company to decide what to do. How much of a job would it be to remove and replace the ignition barrel, steering lock and rear quarter light and what would the cost be please?

Ring Autoglass / National Windscreens for a price for glass, as far as I know the rear glass is bonded, I've a full lockset here for a 940 Estate, £40+ P&P would buy it, fitting it fairly straight forward, but the steering column may be damaged also.
If the ignition lock is broken and the steering is free to turn, remove the plug from the rear of the switch, this will allow you to start / move the car.
