Sorry to hear that, how well did the Volvo look after its passengers?

Gumtree has a few, V8 looks nice!

Thank you I shall take a look. We walked away from a full speed head on collilsion with cuts and bruises, with surprisingly little damage to the volvo (although it will be a write off due to age). The other cars front end was pulverised, however the cabin remained mainly intact (Skoda Yeti) and the other driver escaped with minor injuries also, so I guess that worked in its own way too. But after seeing the way the XC90 didnt even budge an inch and the Skoda just bounced off we are definitely getting another one.

Good to know the Volvo stood up well!
A significant reason for me buying a Volvo was the safety factor.
Head on smash at what speed?
You all walked away.......
A30 by any chance??

A3072, I was travelling at 50 and assume the other car was a similar speed. I started breaking just before impact so the speed will have been a little less.
