Default 740 GLE For sale

My son has sent me this link; the car looks to be an absolute beauty, I thought it was worth mentioning it here as it is far too good to end up in the wrong hands!
I would have it tomorrow if my garage was not already full of old cars....

At thatbproce it will never end up.in the wrong hands! Looks to be in lovely condition but a non turbo automatic estate isn't going to attract drifters etc.

Best part of £6k I think it’ll be staying in the dealers hands.

Lovely but at 6k I doubt it will be moving to any hands. That’s crazy money.

About 5 grand over book. Making a profit is one thing, but that is rape and pillage.

It recently sold at auction for £2600, the pictures in the FB advert come straight from the auction house catalog

The auction house is the one that's on TV on Yesterday channel

Just because you paid £100 does not mean thats what they should all sell for. Car values change. The 240 has risen a fair bit, the 740 is following suit and even the 940 values are rising from their bottom now. 850s are worth quite a bit in good condition and if they are performance models.

"Book" prices are ok for 10-15 years from new but can be hopelessly inaccurate as cars get older than that.

I’d be concerned that it appears to have done less than 2,000 miles since 2006. It might not like being returned to regular use and could quickly start costing even more.
