Right, small change of plans. 440-Turbo is now the principal guy in charge of this group buy, as he's got the money to buy up a small stock of the shifters from John. The price for the group buy will still be £130, the only thing that's changed is the person to send your money to!

There is already a delay - I was told these would be dispatched on Friday but I am struggling to get in touch with John to pay him. I have bought a batch of 10 from him which will be available here to VOC forum members only exclusively for 1 week. They will then be listed on other forums and eBay.

The price is £130 delivered to your door.

Hi all,

I'm tempted...I use my 940 sports every day and go all over the country in it at times...anyone here using one of these short throw's...is it really a worthy upgrade?

Yes, I bought one from John last year (he had one on the shelf and it arrived 4 days later).
It was a straight swap and took about 1/2 hour to fit.
Apart from halving the forward/backward throw, the shift action is lighter and smoother due to high quality bearings replacing the metal/rubber bushings used on the original.
Although the standard m90 shift is not bad, the new shift action is a big improvement. Although not cheap, I think it is definately worth doing.

To avoid disappointment I am saying that the LATEST these will arrive at YOUR door is 23rd July. Realistically it should be sooner than this.
