Cool Can a 2005 V70 D5 kinetics be converter to petrol?

Hi to all! I have funky project in mind: I want to convert my 2005 V70 D5 kinetics from a diesel engine to a gasoline (petrol) engine with more power. The idea is to also transform it to a sporty pick-up...
Is this a crazy and impossible project or can it be done and to what cost! (financial and psychological)

Thank you !

Anything is technically possible and it sounds an interesting project... but why not start with a T5 (preferably AWD) petrol engine car? You have a major task on its own the the bodywork, chopping off the roof, retaining the body strength and making that tidy. Why add changing the engine which is a technological minefield and if you do it well it might be nearly as good as a car that was a T5 when it left the factory?

BTW whilst it sounds interesting - bear in mind your weights, you might just build a pickup capable of carrying a 450 Kg load only....
