Default Looking to swap my 2006 XC70 Manual for an automatic

All my volvos have been automatic. I don't mind driving my recent purchase of a manual XC70 but my wife does not like the more laboured drive. It is very quick and responsive and I've already done 2000 miles in 2-3 months flawlessly. It is top of the range SE lux version with 173000 miles on it. I will get 12 months mot on it and it has a full service history. I just got it serviced last month. It is a sage green colour. If I can't swap it I will sell for £2500 and then buy another. Swapping might be the easier answer though.

Define swap in this case please.
If it means trading one car for another...best of luck finding someone with an automatic willing to.

If it means remove the manual gearbox and install an automatic...it's not going to happen.

There's plenty folk who prefer manual to automatic. Changing the car from manual to auto is a no no agreed. Just need to sell it then.

100%

but i think the issue might be more are any of those people close enough to you to come and check it out and show you theirs (as it were)

also I might be wrong but £2500 for 175k seems a bit high? just wondering if someone with a high mileage auto has seen it but thought maybe you will be asking for money as well as the car to trade

Big yes on pictures. Proof your pictures and watch the shadows.

Around 6 years ago I drove a manual V70 as I had just begun the search for a replacement for my 2002 which I had owned for 7 years.
'Twas a private sale from a Russian bloke was moving back from New Jersey. I'm still kicking myself for not buying it.

Any interest in a well maintained 06 v70 auto with 159k? I've been looking for a manual xc70.

Not really lol pretty much opposite ends of the country. Well.. in a different country technically, the less said about that the better eh

Or what Americans would call 'just going to the shops'
