Kalmar Union T4 Exhaust
Hi all,
I have to replace the exhaust on my '98 T4 and was wondering if anybody has seen/ heard/ fitted the Kalmar Union stainless steel exhaust system. It looks good value, but i don't want to get a 'max power/ boy racer' exhaust note. Thanks Pete |

RE: Kalmar Union T4 Exhaust
Pete,
I have these T4 exhausts in stock, They are not at all noisy in or outside the car. They are made in Sweden where the authorities are very hot on 'boy racer' kit. Please phone me,,, wk 020 8908 6030, mobile 07973 428954. regards, Don. |

RE: Kalmar Union T4 Exhaust
Hi,
I've fitted a Kalmar Union s/s exhaust to my 1996 T5. (Not sure if it's exactly the same type - Don?) All I can say it - go for it! You do get a slightly fuller noise at low revs - hard to describe really, a bit more rumbly than standard but certainly nowhere near Max Power-type noise. Quite discreet, but definitely louder than standard. The gain in power is nice, too - we're not talking 200 BHP, but there's a definite edge which wasn't there with the standard exhaust. And it's still loads quieter than my Griffith 500. ;) |
