can anybody point to finding the gross train weight of my car
2016 xc60 d5 awd se lux nav
ive looked in the doors and under bonnet with no luck

The manual says that you can pull up to 2000kg braked or 750kg unbraked, this is for auto box, manual brings it down to 1800kg it does not mention gross weights.

There should be a sticker or plate somewhere that gives a number of weights such a Axle 1, Axle 2, GVW - gross vehicle weight and GTW gross train weight which is the maximum weight of the vehicle plus any trailer can weigh. Take the GVM from the GTW to get the gross weight of the trailer. Sometimes the W weight is changed to M mass but it means the same.

If in doubt look in the handbook or on the V5 regs doc which should have these figures.
