Using the Canbus chip versions to prevent any problems with the cars inbuilt system of determining if a bulb has failed or not

Hi Togla,

I used standard fit for the rear number plate, following advice from the dealer.

Looks great and no errors.

I have the same hesitation about the puddle lights. I don't know how to get to the bulbs. I have replaced everything else except the foot well lights. The 2012 US XC60 foot well lights are wedge bulbs integrated into a plastic assembly that I cannot quite figure out how to modify to work with LED.

If someone has done this with a 2012 US XC60, please let me know. Thanks.

I have done this for the foot well lights on my 2009 XC60 - you have to disconnet the plastic assembly and then I used a small screwdriver to get the OEM bulb out, from right and left, right and left and then it goes out somehow...
Good luck,
Stoffel

Default List of LEDs

Hello Tolga.

Do you have a complete list of the LEDs you have installed in your XC60?

I have a XC60 MY11 my self, with Heico body kit and 22-inch HRE wheels, and I will really like to add your LEDs

Have just changed to led for rear indicators without any problem on my 98 V70 R. On replacing the stop lights with led this brings on the blown bulb warning light on the dash, however if only one led bulb is in place with standard, no dash warning shows.
Any ideas on a remedy please?

I LED'd my S60 getting on for two years ago! Front marker, rear number plate, all indicators and tail lights.
It looks ok, but more to the point, I dont spend ages farting around changing lamps anymore

Hi, Have a 2012 S60 And am looking to upgrade the bulbs to LED's.
Can you give me some advice on how you upgraded your car And what bulbs you used. Did you upgrade the indicators and brakelights?
