Default S40 1.6d consumption

Hi all,

I recently bought an S40 1.6d (D4164T, 2004, no dpf), but it's consumption seems to be higher than I'd expect from such an engine. Currently 4.8 liter/100km (uk:58mpg, us:49mpg) which doesn't look to be bad at first but it was used mostly on highways (80%) with cruise control set to 100 km/h (62 mph) speed.
Had a maf fault code, cleaned the sensor, works fine. No other faults logged.

Do everyone with this engine have similar consumptions?
Thanks in advance, I'd appreciate any information.

I thought around 60 mph it would consume less, at least the car shows like 67 mpg average.
