Default P0089 1.6d suction control valve

Hi all,

I'm suffering with intermittent limp mode without engine light. It resets on restart or by clearing dtcs with my Bluetooth obd adapter.

The fault code is P0089 "suction control valve stuck"

I'm using the torque app so know this could be a generic description and not accurate for Volvo.

Has anyone had this and can confirm if it is indeed some sort of control valve somewhere?

Many thanks

Rich

Not 100% sure, but maybe the turbo control solenoid that is at the back of the engine, underneath on the driver's side. If you have the torque app, you can check the boost.
