2000 W Volvo V70T5 SE. (T&T but needs TLC!)

I thought I would run this up the flagpole. Not sure really what its worth.

Volvo V70 T5 SE. P2.

212,000! Miles.

Geartronic Auto.

Black Leather Interior.

Rest of the spec is as expected for SE. (So, 9 Speaker stereo, 4 CD Changer, Heated Seats, Air Con (works!), etc.

Metallic burgundy.

Taxed until 30/09/11

MOT until 28/09/11

Has the following faults:

1) Is in the early stages of ETM failure. Not serious yet, but idle is sometimes uneven and has code logged. No engine management light yet. Doesn't drop to crawl-home mode. But will need doing.

2) Gearbox is fine when cold, but when hot (after sitting in traffic) sometimes flares 2-3 shifts and sometimes clunks into gear. It started doing this about a year ago and I replaced the fluid (not a full flush though), which helped a lot, but has started doing it again. I still have 1L of JWS3309 that I didn't use so buyer can have that too!!!

3) Clonk from nearside front top mount. Drop links, Balljoints and wishbone bushes have all been done in the last 18 months.

4) Has some scratches down one side, some scratches on the front bumper. I have the touch up paint, but not a steady enough hand (or the nerve!) to have a go. Buyer can have the paint.

5) Alarm Siren module is dead.

I have owned the car for about 18 months, and have done around 30,000miles in it. I have kept on top of routine maintenance. (Repaired ABS ECU, New Balljoints, new top engine mount bush, new drop-links, tyres 6 months old, new thermostat and coolant, fresh oil 12 months ago) Cambelt was done at 180,000 miles.

Other than that, car has been fine. Is reliable, and pulls very well. Turbo comes on song at about 2500RPM. Interior is fine, some minor (very minor) wear to driver’s seat bolster, passenger and rear seats no wear. Carpets unmarked, expected wear to control surfaces (steering wheel and gear knob).

I am in Leicester, viewings are welcome by prior arrangement. Must have insurance if you want a test drive!
