Hi again,

Really?

I have had mine to a Volvo garage where they have taken it off but not had the correct one to replace it with?

The error code is P0244 wastegate solenoid?

I though mine must be the 3 valve instead of the two but your reply suggests otherwise?

P0244 isn't a Volvo code, it's a generic boost related code.
A Volvo dealer will have Vida to produce accurate Volvo codes and they would also be able to communicate with the servo on the turbo.
If the Volvo garage are claiming to have removed a boost solenoid from a 185, find another Volvo garage.

So, today I managed to get a look at the part that I have mentioned, it is a BOOST PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE ACTUATOR part no:30637251.

This is the part that I have had fiddled about with...

I just bought a used one off eBay and I am looking for my garage to fit.

Will this fix my Turbo boost issue?

Should I get the whole turbo reconditioned?

It's a bit like being at the dentist and not knowing where the pain is actually coming from....

Thanks for your help folks!

Post up a picture showing that valve controlling boost on a 185.
Where exactly is it fitted?

That picture isn't really helping.
Where exactly is it located in the engine bay?
Have you followed the vacuum pipework?
Where exactly does the pipework go from and to?
