it's just a 960
LMAO... if you look closely at the badges they aren't even Volvo badges... they're stick on ones from Halfords... the guy who owns it lives near Worc/Malvern... a mate had it in for repair or service a few months ago... I had a pic of it but I can't find it... if I do find it I'll post it.... it's only a 960

Wasn't able to see too closely as I was paying more attention to the road than how legit his badges were, only noticed the 'S' bit, obviously owning an S90, Father owning 2 960's, I know its 'just' a 960. Passenger of mine noted the Cassidy badges.

Hello polestar, I believe we were both on the M5 south bound, im from kington on the welsh border Herefordshire, nothing to do with Worcester at all, but I now live in Plymouth, hence I was on the m5. On the back of my car it says Cassidy S960, and I bought the chrome letters from the internet, not halfords because halfords font letters are VW font. Anyway Cassidy is my surname and S just means Saloon/sedan just like all the other Volvo S models, V is estate, Cassidy badge only cost £6 which is far cheaper than a private number plate, which no one ever knows what letters and numbers mean on the private plate anyway, and putting numbers too close together to make a letter brings unwanted police attention, so I didn't bother with a private plate, I went for the ABT badge style, I've had two Volvo's before and a Renault Laguna mk1 and they all had Cassidy badge on the back, it's my car why not, it's a personal touch to my Volvo, anyway was great seeing your Volvo on the m5 that day. I've also seen Terry's S90 Volvo I've got a photo of it, and it's got a Mercedes badge look a like on the bonnet, was odd looking. I was told that Volvo S90 had the engine steamed clean and messed up the electrics hence it to was in the garage the day after.

Nothing with it being just a 960, I like to personalise my car, makes it a little different from other Volvo's, there's a few more things I'll do, to make my car, My car, but rip into my badge all you want, it gets attention, I only found out about this post, after a doorman in town said he seen in google search a discussion about my car, ha, anyo nothing wrong in anybody personalizing their car, even if it is something as small as a few chrome letters, from the internet, I drive all over Europe in my 960, and in 2016 im shipping my 960 to the USA Volvo meet fair, get to meet irv 3 million miles Volvo driver, and no it's not a waste of money, it's a road trip of a life time, with my own Volvo, I enjoyed driving to Utrecht Holland Volvo fair meet. Driving aboard is fantastic. Switzerland was an amazing drive too. Im going to stick chrome stickers of all the countries I drive to, on my Volvo. Beats hanging around Tesco car park

Nothing wrong in personalising your car, it makes them stand out and if it ever got stolen people would remember seeing... driving these 960/S90's around Europe is a real pleasure, comfort being the biggest plus

I had the pleasure of parking next to it at a local VOC meet and it was interesting to have them side by side and to compare them both
