Default 240 b230fk swap no spark

Need some advice please,

Done the b230fk swap in my 240 (1997 940 to 1990 240) had a loom made to suit k-jet to LH 2.4. I’ve taken the dizzy out the back of the block and moved it to the front. This has been set up. The rotor arm is new and turning freely. Am getting no spark tho until you stop cranking (this is only a small spark) any idea’s? Would the cps be shot?

Nobody did answer till now?

Simple stupid answer:
Your car is with the wrong ignition switch.
You have to swap the switch too. Have a look to a switch from a LH2.4 too at the scrapyard.
Next problem: Do you use the ECU from the donor car too?
1997???
If yes, this will be with immobiliser and you won't the car get running without a "trick"
There is no known way to bypass the separate immobiliser box

Good luck, one of the best enginesolution you do.

The M90 combination with hammering of the tunnel or do you use the M46?

Good luck, Kay

You don’t need to swap the ignition switch- I swapped my car and it has the original switch.

Chips for the ecu and ezk disable the immobiliser function - as well as higher rev limit, richer fuel map etc.

Cheers

He has got the car running, there were a couple of wires that needed connecting and I supplied the required chip to get around the immobiliser.
