volvo do not publish exactly what software updates do , but software updates when you had the the EGR problem stopped last summer now the cause is known ..

Thats interesting, as on my journey to Newcastle the light came on going up the motorway.
I then stopped at York where the local Volvo dealer had a look at it for me, he didn't have the parts needed, but he said he had done a software update & turned the light off.
I was then told to book it into my local Volvo dealer in Kent to have the pipework etc done.
